Home is at first a line that appears only after departure.

Between journeys and returns, she repeatedly traces spaces that have yet to be named —foreign light, borrowed walls, temporarily resting bodies.

Cities continue to change, yet the contours of home grow ever clearer.

These lines are not drawn in order to arrive,but in order to remember —where one once felt free to become oneself.

Into the Blue

Setting Sail, Encountering Cultures.

“Home” is the point of departure — the origin the artist carries along the way.

Through movement and pause across many cities, identity is dismantled and reassembled.

Home gradually becomes a path, rather than an address.

Utopia

Dream-Seeking, Utopian Worlds.

Through the lines of city maps and the flow of energy, she depicts an ideal spiritual landscape — a “home in dreams” and an “ideal city.”

Homesick, Life Blueprints.

These acrylic paintings can be seen as a series of “life blueprints.”

Living and creating abroad is itself a process of seeking an ideal way of living —

art becomes the artist’s way of finding a place to belong.

Drifting Time

Drifting, at home across the world.

Home is no longer just Taipei or Paris,but the sum of all the places the artist has ever stayed and felt.

An exhibition originating from an immersive sensory experience.

Chapter II - Mesh

Mesh is not a relationship, but a structural state formed by multiple existences co-existing without intruding upon one another.

As the Blueprint unfolds, when individuals depart from the internal structure of "Maison" and begin to share space and time with others,
the "Neighborhood" ceases to be merely a result of emotion or culture. Instead, it becomes a form of existence generated by environmental conditions.

Chapter II - Mesh

In mountainous regions,
spatial density is low and distances are vast, making the establishment of neighborhood ties a necessity.

Connection is a prerequisite for survival; mutual aid and familiarity form an essential network.
In such a landscape, relationship precedes structure.

Chapter II - Mesh

In the city,
spatial density is high and distances are compressed, forcing the reinvention of neighborhood ties.
Non-interaction becomes a form of order; distance is transformed into a sanctuary of protection.
Multiple existences coexist in close proximity without the necessity of forming a relationship. Here, structure precedes connection.

In this framework, individuals are not defined by a fixed identity; instead, they enter different relational roles depending on the specific time and space they inhabit.

Shang Orientheatre

The private fluctuations of sound between singing bowls.

One bowl, one sound wave—the swirling vibrations overflow from the hollow center of the bowl, filling the space.
One bowl, one household; each bowl is simultaneously brimming with the void and with rich sonic waves. The symphony of many bowls creates a resonance of many vibrations.

Many households gathered together form a tribe, a village, a township, a city...
When we live out these vibrations,
the warm blood of emotion flows within our own bodies, allowing different lives to meet and interweave into a grand, bountiful dance.

Background in Art and Design:
Graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di Belle Belle Arti di Brera) in Milan, Italy, majoring in Decoration and Architecture.
Teaching and Mentorship:
Formerly served as a faculty member at the Department of Industrial Product Design at Shih Chien University and the Department of Industrial and Commercial Design at Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology.
Current Position:
Director of Taipei Workshop, specializing in urban aesthetics and spatial/stage architectural design and planning.
Published Works:
Floating Documents 2003 (Muma Publishing, Taiwan).

When the environment changes, the form of relationships changes accordingly.

Neighborhood is not a form of emotion, but a structural consequence generated by density and distance.

It is not indifference; rather, it is a way for multiple existences to coexist simultaneously within a high-density environment.

Within the "Mesh" existence precedes connection. Distance itself constitutes the structure.

Lines have not yet met, but they already exist within the same structure.

  • Lines: Drawing near, yet never touching.
  • Layers: Coexisting, yet not perfectly aligned.
  • Translucency: Perceptible to one another, yet never fully revealed.

The space does not emphasize boundaries; instead, it presents a decentralized structure that allows for fluid entry and exit.

The focus is not on "enclosure," but on the simultaneous placement of multiple existences within a single structure.
